COVID-19 Vaccine FDA Approval
This week marks a key milestone as the FDA approved the emergency use (EUA) of the
Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in the United States. There are many important
considerations to be addressed, including distribution and the phased roll-out to priority
population groups, public acceptance of the vaccine, and considerations for employers.

Questions continue to arise regarding whether an employer can require its employees to
get a COVID-19 vaccination when it becomes widely available. There are many complexities
