Director - Organizational Development & Learning Serena has held HR and Leadership Development roles in the hospitality, higher education, and healthcare industries. She earned her PhD in Human Resources Education from Louisiana State University in 2014. Serena holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-SCP, Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a certified RightPath facilitator. She is a graduate of the Leadership Daytona Class 38, a member of the Boss Lady organization, and a past president of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club. She also serves on multiple Workforce Development Taskforces and in various district support roles for Rotary. |

Director of Human Resources Tawnya has been in the Human Resources, Management, Staffing and Recruiting fields in Volusia, Flagler and Seminole Counties for over twenty 23 years. She is currently Human Resource Director at Teledyne Marine in Daytona Beach. Tawnya has been a member of SHRM since 2011. She obtained her Professional in Human Resources Certification in 2014, her SHRM-CP Certification in 2015, and her Certified Staffing Professional Designation in 2019. She previously served on the VF SHRM Board in 2018 and 2019 as the VP of Finance, 2021 as President-elect, and 2022 and 2023 as Chapter President. Co-Executive Director With a background in both domestic and international management positions, Eveline has professional experience in a variety of industries, such as non-profit, high-tech, manufacturing, government, and retail. She received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2004, her California-specific HR certification (PHRca) in 2012, and her SHRM-CP certification in 2015. Eveline holds her Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. An avid community advocate, she supports numerous local charities, serves on the Board of Regents of Duvall Homes as Secretary, is a Past President of the Board of PACE Center for Girls - Volusia/Flagler, and earned her Distinguished Toastmaster designation from Toastmasters International. Organizational Development Consultant Christine Langley is a Human Resources strategist and organizational development expert with over 20 years of experience in aligning workforce strategies with business objectives. Starting as an intern and rising to a corporate board member, she built an HR department from the ground up, played a key role in establishing an ESOP, and helped facilitate the sale of a company. Christine has led initiatives that align organizational structures, processes, and cultures with business goals by fostering collaboration through strategic communication. Manager of Talent Acquisition Mechele has been in the financial industry for over 30 years in a Human Resource capacity which includes the State of FL, GA, NC, TN, AL, SC and NY. She started her banking/HR Career in 1992 and worked her way into a SVP/Director of HR position for 16 years. She also has experience in all aspects of HR, including benefits, employee relations and Learning and Development. She currently works for Synovus Bank as a Talent Acquisition Manager for the Community, Customer Care, Consumer and Operations lines of business. She obtained her SHRM- SCP certification in 2023 and will be joining the board for the first time in 2024. |

She holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and has been a member of the Volusia/Flagler SHRM Chapter since 2016. She obtained her PHR certification in 2018 and also has a certificate in D&I in HR Management, obtained in 2023. Melissa is passionate about employee experience and overall wellbeing. Director of Human Resources Cheryl has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and Management. She recently transitioned to her new position as Director of HR with Council on Aging. She’s been a member of SHRM National since 2009 and the local chapter since 2018. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management Degree from Saint Leo University. She received her PHR certification in 2010 and her SHRM-CP certification in 2015. She is very active in volunteering within her local community and also serves on the Board of Southern States Rescued Rottweilers. |

Melanie has been in the Human Resources profession for over 35 years, and at the Director-level for five key organizations. Her career experiences include HR leadership roles with Hallmark Cards, The Coca-Cola Company, Mobile Oil Corporation and, GM Overseas Operations in Belgium. Melanie began her career in L&D and then found avenues to gain experience in other HR Melanie has been an advocate for the disabled for over a decade, serving on boards and taskforces at the state and local levels, helping to create changes in employment opportunities for underemployed populations. |
